The Office of Congressman Frank Pallone, Jr. (D-Monmouth, Middlesex) will participate in the Congressional App Challenge, an app competition for U.S. high school students.
Winners will be selected by panels of judges from local communities and winners in the competition will be honored by their member of Congress. Their apps will be featured on a display in the U.S. Capitol building and on the Congressional App Challenge website.
Submissions are due by Nov. 1. The competition is open to all students who meet the eligibility requirements, regardless of coding experience.
The 6th Congressional District is comprised of Edison, Metuchen, Old Bridge, Sayreville, South Amboy, Woodbridge, Aberdeen, Hazlet, Keyport, Long Branch, Matawan, Marlboro, Middletown, Monmouth Beach, Oceanport, Sea Bright, Union Beach and West Long Branch.
