Anshe Emeth Memorial Temple is holding its annual High Holy Days Food Drive to help ease the hunger of those in the community whose fast does not end at sundown on Yom Kippur.
There is need for macaroni and cheese, biscuit or pancake mix, canned vegetables and fruits, canned tomato products, powdered or condensed milk, apple or cranberry sauce, pasta, brown rice, sugar, flour, catsup/mustard/mayonnaise, canned soups, peanut butter and jelly, mashed potato flakes, cereal, coffee/tea, canned tuna, cooking oil, juice and Jell-o/pudding.
Donations will be accepted through Oct. 8 at the temple, 222 Livingston Ave., New Brunswick.
