In commencement exercises on May 16, Fairleigh Dickinson University conferred more than 3,000 degrees on graduates, at MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford. Marissa Levine of Morganville has been named to the dean’s list at Syracuse University, Syracuse, N.Y., for the 2017 spring semester. She is majoring in communications and rhetorical studies in the College of Visual and Performing Arts. Marissa is a 2016 graduate of Marlboro High School.
Brandon J. Hanley of Marlboro was named to the dean’s list for the 2017 spring semester at the University of Florida, Gainesville, Fla. He is working toward his undergraduate degree and a master’s degree in international business with an expected graduation date of May 2018 and then plans to attend law school. Brandon is a graduate of Marlboro High School.
Chandler Nichols, son of April and David Nichols of Manalapan, has earned a Master of Business Administration Degree from the Leon Hess School of Business at Monmouth University, West Long Branch. Chandler was inducted into several national honor societies and has received a graduate scholarship award and a five-year MBA program award for demonstrating outstanding academic achievements for his graduate studies. Chandler has started his employment with the Dow Jones Company as a metrics analyst. He is a 2012 graduate of Marlboro High School.
Jeremy B. Gerringer of Marlboro is participating in a study abroad program during the 2017 fall semester through St. Lawrence University, Canton, N.Y. Jeremy is a member of the class of 2019 and is majoring in statistics and Business in the Liberal Arts. He is studying with the Council on International Educational Exchange’s program in Prague, Czech Republic.
Mary Hanna-Alla of Morganville is one of more than 1,200 Youngstown State University, Youngstown, Ohio, students awarded first-year Scholarships of Excellence this fall. Mary is a graduate of Biotechnology High School, Freehold Township. She was awarded a $4,000 President’s Scholarship.
