Colts Neck

Colts Neck High School remains in pursuit of its first victory of the season when it travels to Central Regional High School on Oct. 20 at 7 p.m.

The Cougars lost to Freehold High School when it hosted the Colonials on Oct. 14, 35-28. The loss dropped the Cougars’ record to 0-6 on the year.

Both Joey Mauriello and Sabour Quddus scored rushing touchdowns for Colts Neck in the game.

Freehold

Freehold made it two victories in a row when it defeated Colts Neck, 35-28, on Oct. 14.

Freehold quarterback Ashante Worthy threw for 113 yards and two touchdowns in the victory at Colts Neck. Worthy also rushed for 163 yards and two touchdowns in the game.

The victory improved the Colonials’ record to 3-3 on the season.

Freehold will play home to Marlboro High School on Oct. 21 at 1 p.m.

Freehold Township

Freehold Township High School remained undefeated after beating Jackson Liberty High School, 31-6, at home on Oct. 13.

Patriots quarterback Nick Reardon threw for 241 yards and three touchdowns in the game. Reardon also ran for a touchdown.

The Patriots, who improved to 6-0, will travel to Howell High School on Oct. 20 at 6:30 p.m.

Marlboro

Marlboro earned its second victory of the year when it defeated Neptune High School, 27-21, on Oct. 14 in Marlboro.

Mustangs quarterback Kyle Moore threw for two touchdowns, while running back Dontrell Alston ran for two touchdowns.

Marlboro (2-4) travels to Freehold on Oct. 21 for a matchup at 1 p.m. against the Colonials.
