Members of the East Brunswick chapter of Hadassah held their monthly afternoon book club at The Chelsea at East Brunswick on Oct. 4. Carolyn Lawrence had more than 16 members discussing “The Sound of Gravel.” The next meeting on Nov. 2 will focus on “A Piece of the World” by Christina Baker Kline.

In addition, Hadassah welcomed Tracy Fink at Temple B’Nai Shalom in East Brunswick on Sept. 26 to discuss mindfulness, compassion and forgiveness in honor of Yom Kippur. Fink, director of Cohn Reznick’s Executive Women’s Forum where she leads the effort for women executives to build and deepen relationships to develop business, speaks to numerous professional organizations about the components of mindfulness.
