The East Brunswick Museum will host local historian Mark Nonestied, who will discuss New Jersey cemeteries and tombstones, at 2 p.m. Oct. 22 at the museum, in the Historic District of Old Bridge, 16 Maple St., East Brunswick.
Based on his book, co-authored with Richard Viet, “New Jersey Cemeteries and Tombstones: History in the Landscape,” the presentation spans the 17th-21st centuries and provides an overview of the state’s historic burial places and the wide variety of grave markers they contain.
The presentation is free, although donations are accepted. No registration is required.
Light refreshments will be served.
