Indoor Halloween parade open to babies and preschoolers

The East Brunswick Library has two special programs planned for children to celebrate Halloween.

“Read To A Dog” will be held at 10:30 a.m. Oct. 28 at the library, Civic Center Drive. The program is designed for readers in grades K-5 to practice reading out loud to animal friends from the Furry Angels Therapy Dogs. The dogs will be dressed in costume.

An indoor Halloween parade for families with preschoolers and babies will be held at 11:30 a.m. Oct. 30 at the library. Everyone is encouraged to wear a costume for a fun walk around the building. Following the parade, there will be a craft project.

Both events are free and open to the public. For more information, call the Youth Services Department at 732-390-6789.
