Inspired by the popularity of video games and comic book movies, the East Brunswick Library will hold its second annual EB Con on Dec. 2 and 3 at the library, Civic Center Drive, East Brunswick.
From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 2, the Friends of the Library will host a Geek Flea Market. Attendees can shop for toys, comic books, dolls, video games, crafts, collectibles, games and any other “geeky” items. There is no admission fee.
Vendor spaces are $20 and include one 18-foot by 72-foot table with two chairs. All proceeds benefit the library. To purchase a space, bring cash or a check to the library’s Circulation Desk. Registration forms can be found at www.ebpl.org or at the library.
EB Con:After Hours will begin a 5 p.m. Dec. 2. Activities are gaming-themed, including retro video gaming, board and card games, geek crafting and a life-sized PAC-MAN competition. These programs are designed for teenagers and adults.
On Dec. 3, there will be several activities for children and families planned in the Youth Services Department.
