Middlesex County’s Office of Arts and History is offering two free craft workshops to teach residents how to dress up the home during the changing seasons and to encourage getting into the holiday spirit.
Both workshops will be held at the Lodge in Thompson Park, 1701 Perrineville Road, Monroe.
The first workshop, “Design on a Dime: Harvest Tablescape and Fall Crafts,” is scheduled for 2 p.m. Nov. 8. Marianne Axon of the online shop Homemade by Marianne will demonstrate a fall, harvest-themed tablescape and lead attendees in hands-on crafts, such as decorating pumpkins and creating glass luminaries.
The second workshop, “Seasonal Wreath Making,” is scheduled for 2 p.m. Dec. 6. Crystal Pasley of the online shop Red Wreath Décor will lead workshop participants in the art of winter and holiday mesh wreath making.
The workshops are free, but registration is required. Text CULTURE to 56512 for event registration and information, or call 732-745-4489.
