Beth Behrend, Jess Deutsch and former Princeton Township Mayor Michele Tuck-Ponder won the three seats up for grabs on the Princeton Board of Education on Tuesday.
The three winners emerged from a six-member field, with Behrend the top vote-getter of the night at 3,199, followed by Deutsch at 2,983 and Tuck-Ponder at 2,773.
The rest of the field saw Jenny Ludmer at 2,118 votes, Julie Ramirez 2,051 and James Fields at 1,192.
This was a political comeback for Tuck-Ponder, who had been in municipal government but sought a seat on the school board.
The election comes with the district poised to have a facilities bond referendum next September to address overcrowding and expected enrollment growth.
