The Monroe Township School District offers a half day Integrated Preschool Program for a limited number of typically developing children who turned 3 or 4 years of age by Oct. 31, 2017.
This tuition-based program is open to all eligible Monroe students, and is designed to give special needs children and typically developing 3- and 4-year-old children the opportunity to learn together.
Each class will operate 2.5 hours per day, five days a week while school is in session. The program will be held at the Barclay Brook School and Mill Lake School. Classes for the 3-year-old session will be in the morning and classes for the 4-year-old session will be in the afternoon.
Each class is instructed by a certified preschool/special education teacher with the assistance of paraprofessionals in the classroom.
Parents will be responsible for transporting their child to and from the program. Before care and after care are not available.
