Edward “Eddie” Bruce Berman, 64, beloved husband, father, family member, and friend, passed away December 12, 2017 at Jersey Shore Medical Center after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer. Edward was an avid Philadelphia Eagles fan, a great cook, and gifted pianist. He loved photography, playing basketball, and traveling every chance he could. He was born to Abraham and Edith Berman in Staten Island, NY (the youngest of 4 boys). He attended Curtis High School and studied Economics and Music at University of New Mexico. Edward was a proud member of the United States Air Force and served as a navigator on a C-141. He went to National University to get a certificate in telecommunications. He worked as a Project Manager in telecommunications for many years in many contexts, including the brand new 911 call center for the City of New York. Edward is survived by his wife of 37 years, Patrice, his children Erica (Henry Thompson), Ryan, Tyler, and Alex, as well as countless family members and friends. A Celebration of Life was held for Edward on Friday, December 15 at 11:30am at Old Tennent Church, 450 Tennent Road, Manalapan, NJ 07726.
