The North Brunswick Municipal Alliance Committee will hold a series of free adult community outreach sessions for residents of the greater Brunswick area.
Ex offenders will speak to youth about tobacco, alcohol and marijuana, and how to steer them in a positive direction, at 6 p.m. on Jan. 17 at the North Brunswick Senior Center, 15 Linwood Place, North Brunswick.
Thomas Etts, a psychotherapist, trainer and consultant for Rutgers University Behavioral Health, will discuss the opioid epidemic at 6 p.m. Feb. 13 at the North Brunswick Municipal Building.
Carol Womack will address suicide prevention, and the link between alcohol, teens and depression, at 6 p.m. March 7 at the North Brunswick Senior Center, 15 Linwood Place, North Brunswick.
There will be games, snacks and activities provided for children while adults are attending the seminars.
