The Judd Elementary School PTO and the North Brunswick Township Education Association will hold Judd’s first International Night from 6:15-8 p.m. on Jan. 25 in the school’s gym and cafeteria, 1601 Roosevelt Ave., North Brunswick.
Explore different countries presented by Judd families, learn to speak new languages using technology, see cultural performances, and taste foods from different countries that are donated by local restaurants and Chartwells Food Service.
Countries represented so far include Italy, the Dominican Republic, Ghana, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Venezuela, Mexico, South Africa, Columbia, Puerto Rico, the Philippines, India, France, Ireland, Greece, Israel, Brazil, Egypt, Jordan, Poland and Jamaica West Indies.
This is a free event for the entire community, but donations for Elijah’s Promise Community Kitchen will be accepted: deodorant, soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, shampoo, pasta, beans, canola oil, olive oil, herbs, spices, salad dressing, instant oatmeal, boxed cereal, cleaning supplies, bleach, paper towels, plates bowls, cups and napkins.
Students must be accompanied by an adult.
