The New Jersey Hall of Fame has chosen the 17 members of its 2017 class. Those chosen will be honored at the 10th annual ceremony at the Paramount Theatre, Asbury Park, on May 6.
The new inductees are actress Meryl Streep, musician and actor Steven Van Zandt, singing group the Four Seasons, singer Gloria Gaynor, singer Debbie Harry of Blondie, “Cake Boss” Buddy Valastro, author Harlan Coben, astronauts Mark Kelly and Scott Kelly, former major league baseball player Al Leiter, U.S. Olympian Mary Decker, politician Millicent Fenwick, author and journalist Anna Quindlen, real estate executive Jon Hanson, publishing executive Steve Forbes, businessman Joe Buckelew and nurse Clara Maass, according to a press release.
Gary Gellman of Gellman Images, Howell, will continue in his role as the official photographer for the Hall of Fame’s annual induction ceremony.
