SOUTH BRUNSWICK – Boy Scout Troop 90 of Kendall Park has added another Eagle Scout to its nest.
Shrish Jawadiwar celebrated his Court of Honor ceremony on Jan. 27 after achieving the rank of Eagle on Sept. 14, 2017.
Shrish joined the Troop in April 2010 after crossing over from Cub Scout Pack 98. Some of his most memorable experiences include the former Highland Games Camporee, Snuffy Hollow Camporee, Aqua Camporee and summer camp, according to information provided by the troop.
In 2014, Shrish attended National Youth Leadership Training and gained skills in leadership and management. His leadership roles in the troop included patrol leader, troop historian and assistant patrol leader.
Shrish has earned a total of 32 merit badges, 11 more than necessary to achieve this rank, according to the statement.
Shrish is currently studying political science at The College of New Jersey, where he serves as a Parliamentarian in the student government. He plans to attend law school for an eventual career in government.
He is the 86th Troop 90 scout to achieve this honor since the troop’s inception in 1968.
