The Fourth Annual Mike Nichols Charity Hockey Game will be held on March 2 at the Prudential Center, 25 Lafayette St., Newark.
Doors open at 6 p.m. Program begins at 7 p.m.
Monroe native Mike Nichols sustained a spinal cord injury in 2014 during a varsity hockey game after being checked from behind.
Former NHL players from the New Jersey Devils, New York Rangers, New York Islanders and Los Angeles Kings will appear, as well as “The MSG Hockey Show” host Will Reeve (son of Christopher Reeve) will appear.
Tickets are $23 in honor of Nichols’ jersey number. All proceeds benefit the Nichols Family Trust and the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation dedicated to curing spinal cord injury and improving quality of life for people with paralysis.
