Clemson University, Clemson, S.C., has named two residents of Howell to the dean’s list for the 2017 fall semester: Ryan Josef Hillermeier, whose major is political science, and Gabrielle Christine Nuzzi, whose major is accounting.

Shaye Lynn DiPasquale of Howell, a senior communications major, was named to the dean’s list at Elizabethtown College, Elizabethtown, Pa., for the 2017 fall semester.

Kaitlin Idank of Jackson has been placed on the dean’s commendation list for outstanding academic achievement during the 2017 fall semester at Gettysburg College, Gettysburg, Pa.

Loyola University Maryland, Baltimore, Md., has named the following area residents to the fall 2017 dean’s list: Alexandra Barazotti of Howell, Evan Skalski of Jackson and Allison Wetherell of Jackson.

Emily Grau of Jackson has been named to the dean’s list for the 2017 fall semester at the Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, Ga.

Purchase College, Purchase, N.Y., named Lillian Dixon of Jackson and Amber Gorney of Howell to the dean’s list for the 2017 fall semester. Lillian is studying playwriting and screenwriting, and Amber is studying journalism and psychology.

Boston University, Boston, Mass., has named Jackson residents Roxanna Altus, Alice S. Kabia and Brendan G. Korey to the dean’s list for the 2017 fall semester.

Brianna Paganini of Howell has been named to the dean’s list for the 2017 fall semester at Marist College, Poughkeepsie, N.Y. Brianna is majoring in communication.

Rochester Institute of Technology, Rochester, N.Y., named the following area residents to the dean’s list for the 2017 fall semester: Rachel Russo of Howell, Tyler Popescu of Howell, Miranda Auriemma of Jackson, Ashley Kittell of Howell and Mickey White of Howell.

Samantha Clarke, a biology major from Howell who is a student at Coastal Carolina University, Conway, S.C., is teaching Myrtle Beach area elementary school and middle school students how to fish as part of a student organization called Carolina Kids Fish. The organization’s purpose is to educate school-aged children about fish identification, tying knots, casting, hook safety and environmental stewardship.
