University Outing Club plans trips for the spring

The University Outing Club will hold trips to Wheaton Village, Millville Army Air Museum, Glasstown Brewery, the Air Victory Museum, Batsto Village and Smithville, plus a birding trip, in April.

In May, the club members will visit the Camden Aquarium, the Empire State Building, Sandy Hook and Perth Amboy’s historic sites.

Destinations in June will be the Keyport Flower Garden, Ocean Grove, Rutgers Sculpture Garden and Voorhees, plus a cruise/brunch.

Founded in 1931 at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, the club is open to all who enjoy spending time outside, learning about the natural environment and taking excursions to nearby places of interest.

Dues are $20 per year for individuals, or $30 for couples/families.

“The Cairn” newsletter contains a detailed calendar of events and is sent to all members three times a year.
