The following lectures will be held at the Office on Aging, South Brunswick Senior Center, located in the Municipal Complex, 540 Route 522, Monmouth Junction of South Brunswick.
Ted Talks videos will focus on the puzzle of personality at 10:45 a.m. on June 6, and the story of two survivors of a refugee boat sunk at sea at 12:30 p.m. on June 20.
Maurice Mahler will discuss artist Henri Toulouse-Lautrec-Monfa at 12:30 p.m. on June 15.
“Hallowed Ground: Putting The Civil War Dead To Rest” by Martin Mosho will discuss how after the war, federal and state governments sought to recover the fallen. The history lecture takes place at 12:15 p.m., June 14.
A member of the South Brunswick Police Department will talk about safe driving at 12:30 p.m. on June 21. Strategies will be presented to help prolong safe driving as well as warning signs that it may be time to put down the keys.
Events are for South Brunswick resident members age 55 and older.
