June Slavin, 83, passed away Wednesday, May 16, 2018.
Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, she graduated from Tilden High School and attended Brooklyn College. SShe was a resident of Princeton Windrows, Plainsboro, NJ since August, 2017. Previously she resided in Groton, MA, Bayside, Queens, Wayne, NJ, Miami Lakes and Aventura, FL.
June was a “professional volunteer.” She was a member of Jewish Federation and a long-time volunteer at Jewish Community Services of South Florida. She was a member of Temple Sinai of North Dade in Miami, FL, and more recently, of The Jewish Center in Princeton, NJ.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Richard Slavin, two daughters and sons-in-law, Mindy and Corey Langer, and Susan Slavin Greenberg and Mark Greenberg, two brothers, Michael Lippman and Yale Richard Lippman, two grandchildren, Micah Langer and Adina Langer (Matthew DeAngelis), and two great-grandchildren, Leo and Ilana DeAngelis.
Funeral services were May 18, at The Jewish Center in Princeton, NJ, with burial at Cedar Park Cemetery in Paramus, NJ.
