Widener University Commonwealth Law School, Harrisburg, Pa., held its annual Student Awards Ceremony and Genna E. Moscato of Howell received the Dean Anthony J. Santor Outstanding Service Award in recognition of her outstanding and exemplary service, dedication and support to the school’s Student Bar Association. Genna also received the Outstanding Service Award in recognition of exemplary service to the law school. Genna will graduate in May and plans to take the New Jersey Bar Exam. She is the wife of Anthony Sandomierski. Moscato is the daughter of Gerardo Moscato, of Hamilton Township and Connie Marzulli, of Island Heights.
Elizabeth Palladino of Howell was among more than 60 University of Scranton, Pa., students inducted into Alpha Sigma Nu, the national Jesuit honor society. Junior and senior students who have distinguished themselves in scholarship, loyalty and service are eligible for nomination by chapter members. Palladino is a graduate student at the Jesuit university.
The following students were named to the dean’s list at York College of Pennsylvania, York, Pa., for the 2018 spring semester: Blayde Alcabes of Howell, a senior professional Writing major; Laura Guarillio of Howell, a senior sport management major; Alexis Hart of Howell, a junior intelligence analysis major; Alan Korzonowski of Jackson, a senior mechanical engineering major; and Nicholas Zak of Jackson, a senior business administration major.

Lindsey Reist of Jackson, a member of the class of 2018 at Bucknell University, Lewisburg, Pa., has been named to the dean’s list for the 2018 spring semester.
William Mitchell of Jackson is studying abroad this summer as part of a program at Belmont University, Nashville, Tenn. William is one of 700 Belmont students participating in one of 43 faculty-led Maymester and Summer Study Abroad experiences across the world. Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester, Mass., has named the following area residents to the dean’s list for the 2018 spring semester: Julia Karg of Jackson, a member of the class of 2019 majoring in architectural engineering, and Tyler Rauch of Jackson, a member of the class of 2019 majoring in mechanical engineering.
More than 130 students from the Ocean County College Nursing Class received their nursing pins at the 50th annual nurses pinning ceremony in Toms River. The graduates completed a two-year course of study leading to an Associate in Applied Science degree in nursing. The graduates from Jackson are Amanda Clark, Maureen Bioni, Andrea Grelis, Michelle Grygo, Steven Kish, Victoria Nuccio and Melissa Plummer.
