Plays-in-the-Park will open its summer 2018 season with “Fiddler on the Roof.” Performance are at 8 p.m. on June 20-30 at the Stephen J. Capestro Amphitheater in Roosevelt Park, Route 1 at Parsonage Road, Edison. There is no show on June 24.
There will be audio description at the June 22 show; rain date June 23. There will be open captioning at the June 25 show; rain date June 26. There will be sign language interpretation at the June 27 show; rain date June 28.
Tickets can be purchased only on the nights of performances from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Tickets are $7 for adults; $5 for seniors age 60 and older; free for children 12 and under; free for active United States military service members and their immediate families; and free for veterans and a guest on Mondays and Tuesdays. Proper ID is required.
If a performance is cancelled due to inclement weather, save the tickets for any other performance at no additional charge. Ticket stubs are valid up to one year after the cancelled performance.
Audience members must provide their own seating. All chair backs must not exceed 40 inches high.
Throughout the season, non-perishable donations will be collected for the Middlesex County Food Organization and Outreach Distribution Services (MCFOODS).
The next plays will be “Mamma Mia!” on July 11- 21 and “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown” on Aug. 1-11.
