The Metuchen Police Department will hold a National Night Out event from 5:30-8 p.m., Aug. 7, at the Metuchen Municipal Pool, 50 Lake Ave., Metuchen.
There will be photos with police, firefighters and EMS members; swimming; food; giveaways; entertainment; games; and prizes.
