EDISON – Out of thousands of high achieving Kumon students from the United States, Canada and Mexico, only 56 were selected to attend the second annual Kumon Student Conference in Calgary, Canada, on July 18.
Sarvagna Malladi of Edison enjoys playing basketball, performing Indian classical dance and playing the piano. She is a seventh grader studying high school level math and reading. The 11-year-old completed the entire Kumon Reading Program, which ends in Shakespeare, and is well into advanced algebra, according to information provided by Kumon Math & Reading Centers.
