The Old Bridge Library will offer special technology classes in July.
Discover travel apps to help with vacation planning at 6:30 p.m. on July 12 at the library’s Laurence Harbor branch, 277 Shoreland Circle, Laurence Harbor section of Old Bridge.
Chrome Music will be held at 4 p.m., July 18, and 25 for grades 4-6, and at 7 p.m., July 23 for teens at the main branch of the library, 1 Old Bridge Plaza at the corner of Route 516 and Cottrell Road. The sessions will offer hands-on experiments with music through Google’s Chrome Music Lab. The classes will use different modules to explore how music works, as well as Song Maker to make songs can be saved and shared.
A Fake News Toolkit will be offered at 1 p.m. on July 21. The session will examine what to look for when trying to determine “fake news,” and will provide tips for helping family and friends avoid spreading misinformation as well.
