The race for seats on the Cranbury Board of Education will be uncontested this fall, as the three incumbents whose terms will end in December were the only residents to enter the election by the July 30 filing deadline.
Board President Karen Callahan and fellow board members Peter Katz and Dominique Jones are running for three-year terms in the contest on Nov. 6.
In recent interviews, all three expressed interest in wanting to remain on the board, which is an unpaid, policy-making body. It was not immediately available when the last time a school board race in the township was uncontested. Last year there was a contested race.
