A couple from Indiana have been charged with plotting the murder of a North Brunswick woman.
Narsan Lingala, 54, formerly of Woodbridge, and Sandya Reddy, 51, both of Noblesville, Indiana, were charged with one count of conspiracy to commit murder in the first degree and one count of attempted murder in the first degree, according to a statement provided by Middlesex County Prosecutor Andrew C. Carey and Director Robert Hubner of the Woodbridge Police Department.
Lingala and Reddy were charged following a three-month investigation by the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office, the FBI and the Woodbridge Police Department.
During the investigation, it was determined that Lingala and his girlfriend Reddy were allegedly plotting the murder of Lingala’s ex-wife. On Aug. 18 at approximately 4:30 p.m. in Woodbridge, the couple allegedly met with an undercover officer who was being hired to murder the ex-wife, according to the statement.
