Two newly appointed administrators- one of whom is a longtime educator in the Hopewell Valley Regional School District – were on hand to greet school children at the Timberlane Middle School and the Toll Gate Grammar School this week.
Robert Nosari was appointed vice principal at the Timberlane Middle School and Jane-Ellen Lennon was named interim principal at the Toll Gate Grammar School by the Hopewell Valley Regional School District Board of Education at its Aug. 20 meeting.
Nosari, who will be be paid $99,855, comes to the district from the Hamilton Township Public School District. He taught at Nottingham High School.
Nosari graduated from Ramapo College, earning a degree in American studies and a secondary social studies teaching certificate. He holds a master’s degree in educational leadership from The College of New Jersey.
He succeeds former Timberlane Middle School Vice Principal Darren Lewan, who was appointed to become the school district’s K-12 supervisor of social studies and special projects.
Lennon will be paid $110,354. She has worked in the district since 1999, including a stint as the K-5 supervisor at the Bear Tavern and Stony Brook elementary schools.
Lennon earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology from Rollins College, and a master’s degree in elementary education and teaching from The College of New Jersey. She also earned a master’s degree in educational leadership from Rider University.
Lennon succeeds Faye Lewis, who was the principal of the Toll Gate Grammar School for the past two school years.
