Health and wellness programs planned at Old Bridge Library

The Old Bridge Public Library will hold the following health and wellness-related programming in October. Registration is not required for these sessions.

Information on Medicare Parts A, B, C and D will be presented at 10:30 a.m., Oct. 9.

Free health screenings will be offered by nurses and technicians from RWJBarnanbas Health from 1-4 p.m., Oct. 14.

Former pharmaceutical engineer Roman Osadca, who is currently a beekeeper and a farmer, will speak about the ancient discovery of garlic, and its uses and benefits, at 7 p.m., Oct. 17.

A support group for women with diabetes will be held at 10 a.m., Oct. 18, and the third Thursday of every month, sponsored by Diabetes Sisters.
