The East Brunswick Public Library Foundation will hold its second fundraising gala from 6-9 p.m. on Oct. 24 at the Park Chateau Estate, 678 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick.
The program includes a cocktail hour, sit down dinner and dessert reception.
Additionally, the foundation will honor the following organizations and individuals:
Corporate Partner Award – Provident Bank
Community Impact Award – The Indian Cultural Society of East Brunswick. Established in 1999, society was formed to showcase cultural awareness, encourage volunteer service, and promote intercultural and intergenerational understanding throughout the community.
Legacy Award – Dr. Michael Kesler. Kesler is a chemical engineering graduate of Massachusets Institute of Technology and New York University, and had a distinguished career in the petroleum industry before retiring in 2006. Since retiring, he has written extensively of his and his late wife’s experiences during World War II. He is the organizer of “The Jews Before The Holocaust” program series at the library.
