Carrie Blessing Keith, 54, passed away on October 18, 2018, at her home in Pennington, New Jersey.
Carrie was born on September 21, 1964, in Hamilton, Ohio. She attended the University of Colorado Boulder and earned her bachelor’s degree from Georgetown University.
She was employed by Educational Testing Service for 23 years, starting as a corporate editor in 1994. Carrie then took on program direction roles for several testing programs, including the PSAT/NMSQT, SAT, and AP. Her career culminated in the position of Executive Director in the Assessment Development Division.
Actively involved in dachshund rescue, Carrie adopted seniors and fundraised for foster care. She enjoyed travel, spending time with family and friends, and weekends at the Jersey Shore with her husband, Rob, on their boat, Carried Away.
Carrie always thought of others before herself. She was a deeply caring and considerate girl who grew up to be the most kind, loving and generous woman. Many enjoyed her true gift for friendship.
To the very end of her mortal life, Carrie was as beautiful on the outside as she was on the inside. Her sparkling eyes, vibrant smile, and inner light will not be forgotten.
Beloved daughter of the late Norbert (Buck) Blessing, Carrie is survived by her devoted family: her husband, Robert C. Keith; mother, Joan Thiel Blessing; sister, Jenny Blessing (Rick Collins); brother, Buck Blessing (Janelle); mother-in-law, Patricia Keith; brother-in-law, Percival Keith; nephew, Alessandro Getzel; and nieces, Katie Keith, Stella Blessing, Phoebe Blessing, Gaia Blessing, Vivian Blessing, Lydia Blessing, Gillie Collins and Haleigh Collins.
A memorial service will be held at 10 am on Saturday, November 10, at All Saints’ Church in Princeton, New Jersey.
