The East Brunswick Historical Society will hold a program about the famous Hall-Mills murder case at 2 p.m. Nov. on 18 at the society center, 78 Milltown Road, East Brunswick.
In September of 1922, the bodies of two lovers were discovered on an abandoned farm at the outskirts of New Brunswick: the Rev. Edward Wheeler Hall, 41, and Eleanor Mills, 34. Many legal experts and historians have argued over who murdered them for nearly 100 years. William Kunstler also authored the famous book, “The Minister and the Choir Singer”.
Historian Richard Sears Walling will present the work of Detective Saloom, in addition to an overview of the case and 1926 trial.
Refreshments will be served.
