South Brunswick police seek surveillance footage from areas in Kendall Park

 

SOUTH BRUNSWICK – South Brunswick police are investigating multiple car burglaries that occurred in the Kendall Park section of town on Nov. 12.

Officer Matthew Hagood responded to a residence on Eleanor Drive for a car burglary around 5:08 a.m., according to information provided by the South Brunswick Police Department.

The resident advised Hagood after walking his dog he entered his residence through the garage, leaving the door open. Minutes later the resident exited his house and reportedly observed someone in his garage next to his car. The resident reportedly shouted at the suspect, who then fled to an awaiting dark blue or black vehicle and left the area, according to reports.

The suspect was wearing a hooded sweatshirt when the incident occurred. It is believed  there were additional individuals in the suspect vehicle when he fled from the area, according to reports.

The suspect stole a wallet that contained personal identification cards and cash. Jewelry and a cell phone were also stolen from the victim’s car, police said.

An additional car burglary was also reported on Village Road. The suspects also stole a wallet containing personal identification cards and cash from the victim’s car, police said.

Police are seeking any surveillance footage in association with these investigations. Police are also looking for video surveillance from the Timber Ponds development, Beekman Manor development, and Village Road areas along Beekman Road.
