She was 82. Born in Brooklyn, NY, Ms. LaGrutta attended Saint Athanasius Catholic Academy and was graduated from Saint Brendan’s High School. A long-time resident of Skillman, NJ, she moved to Lawrenceville, NJ, in 1998, where she resided for ten years before moving to Henrico, VA in 2008.
She worked as an Executive Secretary for Princeton Public Schools before becoming a Senior Administrative Assistant to the Director of Statistical Analysis at Educational Testing Services.
Upon her retirement from ETS, she joined Packet Publications as a writer, working at the Hopewell Valley News. Much loved by many for her caring and compassionate nature, she is survived by her sister, Carmela Rebsamen of Lexington, KY, her cat Cali, and many devoted friends and former business associates.
At Rosalie’s request, her service was private. Donations may be made in her memory to the animal rescue group of your choice.
