NORTH BRUNSWICK – At approximately 6:25 p.m. on Jan. 16, North Brunswick patrol units were dispatched to a motor vehicle accident in front of 923 Hermann Road.
Upon arrival, units located a 2017 Kia Sedona that had come to rest adjacent to a tree on that property. The female driver was unresponsive, according to information provided by the police department.
Despite the efforts of the officers and the North Brunswick First Aid & Rescue Squad, the driver was later pronounced dead at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. She was not identified as of press time.
Preliminary details reveal that the van was traveling on Hermann Road westbound before leaving the roadway and impacting a single tree on the above-mentioned property, police said. The decedent was the driver and sole occupant. There were no other vehicles or injuries involved.
