A 17-year-old East Brunswick male was sentenced to serve 3-and-a-half years in the New Jersey Training School for Boys, also known as Jamesburg.
The sentence was imposed in accordance with a plea agreement reached with Middlesex County First Assistant Prosecutor Christopher L. C. Kuberiet. The teen was adjudicated a juvenile delinquent when he pleaded guilty on Dec. 3, 2018, to two counts of first-degree armed robbery, conspiracy to commit theft, third degree armed riot, third degree criminal mischief, and fourth degree contempt. In addition, prior to sentencing, he also pleaded guilty to third degree credit card theft, according to information provided by Middlesex County Prosecutor Andrew C. Carey.
