Chiquita Pittman, an agent for RE/MAX Platinum, is partnering with the Puerto Rican Action Board (PRAB) to hold a free seminar for first-time homebuyers from 5-8 p.m. on Feb. 12 at the PRAB headquarters, 90 Jersey Ave., New Brunswick.
During the seminar, Pittman will review essential tips for anyone looking to make the jump from renting to home ownership. Tips will include the importance of managing your budget, and expenses to consider when determining how much home you can afford. Pittman will also review the latest tools available to help homebuyers with their search.
A mortgage lender, home inspector and attorney will also be available before and after Pittman’s presentation to answer questions from potential homebuyers.
