A 43-year-old Pennington man was charged with driving while intoxicated, refusal to submit to a breath test, reckless driving and speeding after he was stopped for driving 50 miles per hour in a 25-miles-per-hour zone on Woosamonsa Road at 1:05 a.m. on Jan. 26. He was released to a relative’s custody.

 

A 55-year-old Trenton man was charged with driving while his license was suspended and failure to produce credentials after he was stopped on Route 31 at 10:48 p.m. on Jan. 30 for  having a burned-out headlight. The owner of the truck was issued summonses for maintenance of lamps and having an unregistered vehicle. The driver was turned over to the Hamilton Township Police Department on an outstanding warrant.

 

A 56-year-old Pennington man was charged with possession of less than 50 grams of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle after he was stopped for a lane change violation on Pennington Road at 8:33 a.m. on Jan. 27. Police found a tin can containing marijuana and a glass pipe containing marijuana residue in his possession.

 

A 37-year-old South Carolina man was charged with shoplifting and hindering apprehension after he left the LukOil gas station on Route 31 without paying for a hat at 2:32 p.m. on Jan. 23. He was found to have several outstanding warrants from other jurisdictions, and gave several false names to police. He was taken to the Mercer County Correction Center.

 

A 35-year-old Titusville man was charged with driving while intoxicated, refusal to submit to a breath test, leaving the scene of an accident and failure to report an accident after he struck the rear of another car on Bear Tavern Road at 8:42 p.m. on Jan. 31. Police found him at home, and took him to police headquarters for processing. He was released to an acquaintance’s custody.
