EAST BRUNSWICK – New Beginnings Animal Rescue has lost its lease at its present location, 706R Cranbury Road in East Brunswick, but will be relocating.
Since opening in February 2014, the rescue has served the community by assisting with animal placement and care, and will relocate to a smaller space locally in the very near future, though a timeframe has not been announced, according to information provided by the rescue.
The Cranbury Road location will remain open until every dog and cat is placed in a home, since New Beginnings has been and will continue to be a no-kill animal shelter, according to the statement.
In addition, without the overhead and expense of operating at the Cranbury Road location, members will be able to expand outreach by stepping up assistance with Trap/Neuter/Return programs; offering a community pet food bank for needy families and rescue groups; providing referral assistance for pet issues; and more adoptions, according to the statement.
