The 34th annual Rock-a-Thon is scheduled from 5 p.m. on Feb. 22 until 5 p.m. on Feb. 23 at North Brunswick Township High School, Raider Road, North Brunswick.
The 24-hour rocking chair marathon raises money for charities by having students get pledges and then rock the day and night away. Money is being raised for The Hugs for Brady Foundation, Elijah’s Promise, Where Angels Play and the North Brunswick Food Bank.
Visitors are welcome from 5-8 p.m. on Feb. 22 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Feb. 23.
Checks can be made out to NBTHS-Rock-a-Thon and mailed to the high school, attn: Meg Wright.
Over the course of the years, this event has raised more than $230,000 for charities.
