Julie S. Woodward died Saturday December 21th 2018 in Gainesville, Florida. Julie was 74 years old.
Julie was born January 28th 1944 to the late Robert and Edna Schwab in Trenton, New Jersey. Julie earned her B.S. degree from Stockton University.
Julie was a caring individual and expressed that care through her career and activities. Julie was a nurse. While living in New Jersey, Julie was a proud member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post #339. When Julie moved to Cudjoe Key her kindheartedness continued as a member of the Marine Mammal Stranding Team and a volunteer with the SPCA. Julie’s hobbies included scuba diving, fishing, boating and needlework.
Julie and her husband Donald moved to Gainesville later in life to enjoy each other’s company for the rest of her years.
Julie is preceded in death by her parents and her brother Roger Schwab. Julie is survived by her loving husband Donald “Woody” Woodward of 45 years; her brother, Dennis Schwab (Christa) and her nephew, Roger W. Schwab.
A memorial service will be held in honor of Julie Saturday, February 16th 2019 at Grace Presbyterian Church 3146 NW 13th St, Gainesville, FL at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers please donate to Grace Presbyterian Church of Gainesville or Habitat for Humanity of the Lower Florida Keys.
