Cranbury Recreation
Residents who want try something new in recreation can look to Tai Chi classes as an option. The classes will be held at the St. David’s Church on Tuesdays from 9:30 am – 10:30 am.
To participate, the fee for seniors is $40 and for other is $65. If residents are interested in registering, forms are online at www.cranburytownship.org.
Cranbury Public Library
The Spark Club will have the activity for the month on Feb. 21. The activity will start at 3:30 p.m. in the library. The club will be making and mixing audio recordings, the club will find out how to share recordings online and children and adults will be able to make their own RCA cables. The club offers children and adults the opportunity to create and tinker. The club is for ages 8 and up.
The library will have a special presentation for residents about the life of Albert Einstein. The presentation will be at 6:30 p.m. in the library on March 15.
The presentation will examine the life of the man who is known as a genius. Residents will learn how a childhood fascination with a compass played a role in the development of the Nobel prize-winning scientist, and how he escaped Nazi Germany, and how advocated for civil rights and world peace.
Village Park
The annual stream cleanup is set for April 6 in Village Park. The cleanup will go from 9-11 a.m. Residents who want to participate can without pre-registering.
