The Township of Aberdeen will partner with other organizations to sponsor a “Health Fair” from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on April 6 at the Matawan Regional High School.
The high school is located at 450 Atlantic Ave. in Aberdeen.
The fair is sponsored by the Aberdeen Economic Business Council, Aberdeen Township Council, Hackensack Meridian Health, Matawan Regional High School and the Monmouth County Health Department.
Residents will have the opportunity to meet more than 20 local health and wellness providers. Free health care screening will be provided that includes: blood pressure, pulse, glucose, BMI and cholesterol, stroke-risk assessment and vision testing.
Healthy food samplings will be provided. Residents will also be able to touch police cars, fire engines vehicles, Community emergency response team (CERT) vehicles and more.
Free adult and child ID cards provided by Monmouth County Sheriff’s Department.
