Thirteen jazz bands from around the region will be performing, including state champion John P. Stevens High School Jazz Ensemble, during J.P. Stevens’ Jazz Festival from 5-11 p.m. on March 29 at the school, 855 Grove Ave., Edison.
Doors open at 4:30 p.m. Admission is $9 for adults, $6 for senior citizens/students. Awards for outstanding solo and section performances will be distributed at the conclusion of the festival.
Vendors for dinner and beverages will be available for purchase throughout the evening. All proceeds benefit the John P. Stevens High School Band Program.
