Parker at Monroe Adult Day Center is a not-for-profit organization committed to supporting caregivers of older adults. To learn more about caregiving and connect with peers, there will be a Caregiver Conference held from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on April 13 at 200 Overlook Dr., Monroe Township.
Educational sessions will include a presentation by Dr. Fred Kobylarz, geriatrician, Rutgers Health, Center for Healthy Aging at Monroe, RWJ Hospital, who will discuss the importance of the Medicare Annual Wellness Visit as it relates to memory loss. Presenter Jason Alguram will discuss legal issues relating to long-term care planning. John Dulog, an occupational therapist, will review home safety strategies and fall prevention tips.
