St. Bernadette’s Church, Social Concerns Ministry will conduct the spring clothing drive on April 13.
Residents are asked to bring clothing, small appliances, household items, toys, reading books, small furniture, linens, blankets, curtains, drapes, bedspreads, pillows, handbags, shoes (do not need to be packaged separately). No large appliances or furniture will be accepted.
We will have a truck available in the parking lot (20 Villanova Road, Parlin) on April 13 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Students over 12 years of age, who need service hours may volunteer, please call in advance to arrange time with Karen at 732-425-0387. Tax receipts will be available.
If you cannot make this date, please know that St. Bernadette’s Church has clothing bins on the church property as well (all year round) that accepts donations, however, nothing large or breakable as nothing is to be left outside of the bins or on the church property. St. Bernadette’s, Social Concerns Ministry and Catholic Charities benefit from the donations made to these bins (50/50).
