EDISON – Authorities are searching for three men wanted for questioning in connection to a shooting which resulted in the death of one man, and seriously injured another man, in the early morning hours of March 23.
Nahshon Brown, 31, of Newark, was pronounced dead at the scene outside Akbar Restaurant on Cortland Street in Edison. In addition, a 40-year-old man from Newark was taken to the hospital where he is currently being treated for a gunshot wound to the head but remains in stable condition, according to a joint statement released by Middlesex County Prosecutor Andrew C. Carey and Chief Thomas Bryan of the Edison Police Department on March 27.
The shooting took place at a Reggae event. Police were alerted to the shooting at approximately 1:56 a.m.
