Reformed Church Home (RCH) was recently awarded Providigm’s Embracing Quality Award for 2018 for exceptional achievement in Customer Satisfaction. In 2018, only 181 nursing centers across the US received awards, putting RCH in a select group of high performing nursing centers nationwide.
“In a time when the skilled nursing industry has been under enormous pressure due to increased regulatory standards and slim margins, these facilities have continued to make quality a priority. Excellence in these measures directly links to high quality outcomes for the patient or resident,” said Ellen Kuebrich, Providigm’s chief strategy officer. “We are excited to recognize our Embracing Quality Award winners not only as having achieved exceptional and measurable results, but also as leaders in quality care in skilled nursing.”
Skilled nursing facilities were only eligible to win a 2018 Embracing Quality Award if they achieved standards for Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) as required by Providigm’s Accreditation Standards for QAPI. These standards ensure that facilities are assessing quality against the full spectrum of federal regulations among a substantial portion of their residents, and correcting identified issues.
RCH also received the Embracing Quality award in 2015, and has attained Advanced QAPI accreditation through Providigm for the past four quarters.
“It is an honor to win the Embracing Quality Award for Customer Satisfaction once again this year,” said Kate Shepard, executive director/administrator at RCH. “This prestigious recognition is a tribute to the hard work of our employees and their dedication to providing excellent care to our residents.”
