One week after its closure for emergency repairs, the Alexander Street bridge in Princeton reopened to traffic at 3 p.m. on April 16.
The bridge, which crosses the Stony Brook, was closed by Mercer County officials because of deteriorated structural conditions.
Emergency repairs began April 9, and were completed on April 16.
Pedestrians were able to cross the bridge, but cars and trucks were banned from using it until the emergency repairs were completed.
The work was expected to take 10 working days.
